I’m a lifestyle and wedding photographer with a passion for capturing moments that feel both creative and effortless. Working with people is at the heart of what I do, and I love making each session an experience that's as enjoyable as it is beautiful.
Based in Des Moines, IA (though I love to travel!), I have deep roots in the DSM metro area. Growing up here and now starting a family with my wonderful husband, it’s an honor to call this city home. We’re excited to welcome our baby boy in November.
Most of my time is spent sipping cold brew, hanging out in the art studio, reading, or, every now and then, binge-watching New Girl at home. I’m also a big fan of antiquing with friends—it’s always a fun adventure! And when it comes to films, I’m all about Greta Gerwig. Frances Ha is my ultimate favorite, and it’s totally worth watching with others.
As for me, I’d say my style is pretty unfiltered and fun. I really believe both digital and film photography can capture something special—whether it’s a moment to look back on, reflect, or pass down to future generations. I’m all about candid, documentary-style photos that feel real. For me, a great shoot is when someone can move freely and feel confident—not stiff or posed, but just comfortably directed.
What I bring to my photography business goes beyond just capturing beautiful images. I combine my creative background in graphic design with a passion for storytelling, ensuring that each session is not only visually stunning but also meaningful. I understand the importance of details, whether it’s in the location, the lighting, or the little moments that make a photograph truly special.
My background also allows me to offer a personalized experience for every client, from providing custom location and outfit guides to creating a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourself. I’m committed to making every session feel effortless, fun, and tailored to your unique personality and style.

I hold an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Des Moines Community College and am currently working toward my Graphic Design degree at Drake University. I’m in a two-semester break while I prepare to welcome & care for my baby boy, but I’m excited to be able to focus on my family and photography during this time.
I’ve always loved working with my hands and expressing my creativity, whether it’s through my studies or my photography business. It’s been an incredible journey blending both passions and watching them come to life in new ways.
